The game between the Packers and the Lions may feature a matchup of two teams with reversed records, but it is also one that has two teams heading in totally different directions. The Packers have been very inconsistent in recent weeks, as they have seen both their offense and defense look awful at times.

Without Jordy Nelson, the Packers’ offense looks mediocre even with Aaron Rodgers still at quarterback. Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks in the league, but his supporting cast isn’t getting it done from his offensive line to his receivers.

The Lions’ season may have ended weeks ago, but this is a team that is playing very hard still despite a 4-7 record. Their offense has really improved in recent weeks, as their talent is being utilized much better. After big losses in free agency on the defensive side of the ball, the Lions’ defense looks to be gelling in recent weeks.

With the Lions trending up and the Packers trending down, the Lions will be able to get their fifth win of the season and keep their winning streak alive.
