Our old friend, Rex Ryan, marks the final roadblock in the New York Jets’ road to a playoff spot. Rex has put life back in the team, but the Bills are currently on the outside looking in. He would like nothing better than to be the guy that ends the Jets’ run to the playoffs. The Bills did beat the Jets last time, 22-17. They could do it again.

But the Jets did have success in a losing cause last time. They rushed for 5.3 yards per carry on the Bills. Eric Decker and Brandon Marshall posted nine receptions between them. The defense is currently playing more focused than they were at the time they faced the Bills. With a playoff berth in sight, it is not unreasonable to think the New York Jets will end the season on a high note, and send their former coach to another disappointment in January.

Obviously, the games are played on the field. But, the Jets are set up in position to finish the year 10-6 and find their way back to the playoffs.
