Minnesota Vikings: 4 steps to beating the Bears

The Minnesota Vikings need to take care of business against the Chicago Bears in order to ensure they get into the playoffs in 2015, here’s how they do it.

Over the last few weeks, the Minnesota Vikings have struggled to prove they can take on the best teams in the NFC. The Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals both took advantage of injuries to the Vikings defense and came away with big victories.
The Vikes have a chance to get back on track against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

The Bears are an inferior opponent. At 5-8, they do not pose a major threat to the Vikings. Minnesota is the better team, is getting healthy, and trying to get on a roll before heading into the 2015 playoffs. This game is one where the Vikings need to come in and take care of business.
This shouldn’t be too difficult for the Vikings to do. They did it earlier this season when they beat the Bears 23-20 at Soldier Field.
Still, the Bears are a formidable spoiler in the NFC North. Jay Cutler and his team are not to be taken lightly, even if they are not going to get into the playoffs and have shown numerous weaknesses throughout the season. Perhaps most importantly, head coach John Fox is not going to let his team bow out in disgrace to end the season.
As the Vikings gear up to put the Bears down, let’s examine the important steps they need to take in order to take care of business and win.
