Whether they are moving to Los Angeles in the near future or not, the Chargers need to add impact talent to their roster. With a strong veteran quarterback in Phillip Rivers and some nice pieces around him, the Chargers can turn their fortunes around quickly with some luck, but it would have to involve a strong showing in the draft.

Jalen Ramsey is arguably the most physically gifted player in this draft class. He has elite-level athleticism, and an incredible knack for coverage. Ramsey is an extremely versatile prospect who played all over the field for Florida State. Linebacker, safety, slot corner, traditional cornerback, Ramsey did it all for the Seminoles, and he did it at an extremely high level.

The Chargers have some obvious holes in the secondary, and I think Ramsey could come in and help them at multiple positions. Eric Weddle is extremely unlikely to be back next season, and Ramsey could help fill that void at safety. Also, pairing him with Jason Verrett would make up arguably the most talented young cornerback duo in the NFL.

A true difference maker, Ramsey is an incredibly talented player with obvious skills on the field. His play-making ability would undoubtedly make a huge impact on the Chargers’ defense that is just looking for a spark.
. DB. Florida State. Jalen Ramsey. 1.03. player. 13
