123. With an obviously talented roster, the Cowboys are only sitting in this situation because of terrible injury luck throughout the season. With Tony Romo and Dez Bryant expected to be back and healthy next season, the Cowboys will likely be back in the post season mix. With a talented roster already in place, they could really go in a lot of directions with the fourth overall pick.

Dallas has some needs on defense, with linebacker and the secondary immediately coming to mind, but it is something they could address in the later rounds. Many have suggested a quarterback here, and while I understand the thinking behind that, the value of taking a QB with the fourth overall pick while already having Romo on the roster is probably not the greatest.

I could see the Cowboys taking a defensive back like Vernon Hargreaves, maybe a stud linebacker like Myles Jack or a developmental quarterback like Paxton Lynch, but in my eyes selecting talented wide receiver Laquon Treadwell makes more sense for the currently constructed Cowboys.

With obvious athleticism and natural power on the field, Treadwell is an absolute match-up nightmare at the wide receiver position. He is not the fastest receiver you will ever see, but Treadwell can simply go up and get it with the best of them. With great leaping ability and a physical style of play, Treadwell is an absolute beast on 50/50 balls in the air.

He also does a nice job of establishing position on shorter and intermediate routes, consistently boxing out his opponents for great position. Treadwell does an outstanding job of using his body to his advantage.

While his lack of elite speed does not allow Treadwell to create much separation, his ability to go up and fight for every pass makes him seemingly open on each and every play.

Treadwell has true Dez Bryant like ability, and the Cowboys could become and incredibly dangerous offense with those two physical freaks on the outside at the wide receiver position.
. WR. Ole Miss. Laquon Treadwell. 1.04. player
