Oakland Raiders Fans Respect Chiefs More Than Broncos
San Diego Chargers
The Raiders swept the Chargers in the previous season, which explains the four percent in poll votes as the toughest AFC West opponent.
Nonetheless, the Raiders didn’t exactly run over the Chargers in their last meeting. The Silver and Black sent Charles Woodson off with an overtime victory at Oakland Coliseum before his drop-the-mic moment:
With an accurate quarterback under center and running back looking to bounce back after a poor rookie campaign, the Chargers hang their hopes on a healthier No. 1 receiving target and offensive line.
If healthy, the Chargers will field an electric passing attack in the upcoming season. Philip Rivers will have wideouts Keenan Allen, Travis Benjamin, running back Danny Woodhead and tight end Antonio Gates racking up yards after the catch and touchdowns.
Due to changes across the defensive line and secondary, the Chargers won’t contend for an AFC West title, but they’ll certainly improve on a 4-12 record. Nonetheless, at Oakland’s best, they should sweep San Diego in 2016.
