Green Bay Packers: Latest Buzz at Training Camp
By Nick Ziegler
With training camp in full swing for the Green Bay Packers, what is the latest buzz surrounding the team before Week 2 of the preseason?
The Green Bay Packers are coming off of a 17-11 victory against the Cleveland Browns in their preseason opener. For the Packers, the opener didn’t feature either of projected first and second string quarterbacks.
Despite Aaron Rodgers and Brett Hundley both being out, the Packers still found a way to win the game. Rodgers was held out like some other starters around the league on a coaches decision, but Hundley actually missed the game because of the ankle injury. The good news for the Packers was that Hundley was able to return to practice this week leading up to the game against the Raiders.
One of the key members of the offense we did get to see against the Browns was Eddie Lacy. This offseason was an important one for Lacy, and he had a solid preseason opener against the Browns. The Packers will need more from Lacy than what they received in 2015, and so far he looks much better.
On Thursday, the Packers will be hosting the Oakland Raiders in their second preseason game. With that game just a few days away, what is the latest buzz at Packers camp?
