. . San Francisco 49ers. 25. player. 42.
Does the game against the L.A. Rams really matter? I mean that wasn’t really a solid team they faced off against right?

The good thing for head coach Chip Kelly’s crew is running back Carlos Hyde finally looks like the player they thought they were drafting. His burst can continue to help open things up for this quick paced offense.

Defensively they look like they have new life, which they may need plenty of considering how quickly Kelly’s defenses got worn out in Philly.

In the end, the Niners are in a division with the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks. They’re pretty much fighting for third place but they still may be better than originally thought.

P.S. A note to San Francisco management: just don’t give Chip control of personnel moves.
