Julio Jones is terrorizing the Carolina Panthers and making a grab off of a tipped pass is just one of many ways he’s choosing to do so

No one would argue the fact that the Carolina Panthers thrive off of the strength of their defense. However, the Atlanta Falcons certainly looked more than capable through three weeks of putting them to the test in Week 4. Sure enough, Matt Ryan and the offense were ready to fire on all cylinders in the Georgia Dome. That including Falcons wideout Julio Jones absolutely shredding the Panthers for one big play after another.

Jones’ stat-line from the first half is something out of a video game when you’re playing on easy. However, there was absolutely nothing easy about what has to be his most impressive catch of the first half.

Though it may not have taken much athleticism, the poise and control it took to make the catch was absurd. Ryan was flushed out of the pocket and looked Jones’ way yet again. However, Panthers star linebacker Luke Kuechly was covering the middle of the field. So when Ryan made the throw, Kuechly got his hands on it. That didn’t deter Jones from seemingly hanging in the air for another few seconds to come down with the grab and then turn upfield for another few yards. Unreal:

I don’t know what training you have to do to levitate, but apparently Julio Jones knows the secret. At least judging by that play he does. Jones finished the first half with 170 yards receiving on seven catches. On a related note, that still left 30 minutes of game left to play.
