After the Seattle Seahawks allowed a touchdown to Julio Jones, Richard Sherman got heated on the sideline with his defensive coordinator and teammates.

Richard Sherman isn’t exactly the most passive of individuals. The Seattle Seahawks cornerback is one of the best in the NFL at what he does. So when something doesn’t go right for him or his team, he’s going to let somebody hear about it. After the Seahawks allowed Julio Jones to burn them for a touchdown early in the second half, that was certainly the case.

Granted, Jones makes plenty of defenses look silly. However, Richard Sherman and the Seahawks aren’t most defenses by any stretch. So as the star corner went to the sidelines, everyone got a piece of his mind.

From Seattle defensive coordinator Kris Richard to Michael Bennett to a slew of other Seahawks players, Sherman was up in everyone’s face. The man was clearly fired up and heated over the blown defensive coverage and allowing the score.

How players behave or mature has been the subject on the minds of many around the NFL this season, much thanks to the antics of one Odell Beckham Jr. However, I don’t think anyone is going to criticize Sherman for this type of thing. As opposed to OBJ, Sherman’s outbursts like this one are almost always meant to galvanize rather than, for lack of a better term, whine.

We’ll see if his heated sideline behavior indeed gets the Seahawks to lock down after allowing that Jones touchdown.
