Rob Gronkowski put the Patriots back into the lead against the Bengals with his first touchdown of 2016, complete with a Gronk Spike

The duo of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski were back to the usual standard set for them Sunday. On the second drive of the second half for the Patriots, the duo hooked up for a four-yard touchdown score with the Patriots regaining the lead at 19-14.

Gronkowski’s touchdown catch was his first of the 2016 season. He’s clearly enjoyed Brady being back in the fold.

And of course, such an occasion only has one appropriate celebration—a Gronk Spike:

The touchdown pass by Brady was his second touchdown pass of the game. His first score came late in the second quarter where he connected on a 15-yard pass to running back James White.

Brady’s second touchdown pass was his 10 consecutive completion. On the aforementioned second touchdown pass, the drive also included a 38-yard completion to Gronkowski. That came on a third-and-8 play to reach the Bengals four-yard line which set up the touchdwown pass.

The second half really gave them momentum and the second touchdown pass showed just how good this Patriots team is with Brady on the field and leading the way.
