Carson Wentz has played poorly, but Josh Huff has given the Eagles some life.

The Philadelphia Eagles game against the Minnesota Vikings started off crazy. There was a point in the game where neither offense wanted the ball, leading to five straight turnovers. All of that comes back on the quarterbacks, Carson Wentz and Sam Bradford. Wentz looked like a rookie so far in Week 7, but Bradford has looked like the Bradford we are used to seeing.

Both teams decided they would go with their respective quarterbacks before the year, the Vikings traded for Bradford and the Eagles went with Wentz. However, they could be better off without both of them today as they aren’t doing too well.

Luckily for the Vikings, Bradford was able to calm down and lead them to a field goal. He played bad on the drive, though he did throw a strike to his tight end Kyle Rudolph on third down. After the field goal, the game was 3-0, Vikings.

On the ensuing kickoff, the Eagles got the spark they needed.

Wide receiver Josh Huff hasn’t done much this season, but this kickoff return for a touchdown was huge. Wentz and the Eagles offesne has been nonexistent, so getting points was huge. The Eagles kicked their extra point, it was good, but the Vikings ran into the kicker. Instead of taking the penalty on the kickoff, head coach Doug Pederson accepted the penalty and went for two.

Wentz used his big body to get the two-point conversion, putting the Eagles up 8-3. In an absurd first half, the 8-3 score is fitting.
