Vikings at Eagles Recap, Highlights, Final Score, More

The Philadelphia Eagles had the Philly crowd rocking as the knocked off the undefeated Minnesota Vikings in Week 7.
The Philadelphia Eagles came to play on Sunday while the Minnesota Vikings were still on their bye week. Coming into Week 7 off of back-to-back losses, all the pressure was on the Eagles to get a much needed victory. That is easier said than done because the Eagles took on the only remaining unbeaten team, the Vikings.
All the talk leading up to the game was about Sam Bradford vs. Carson Wentz. The Eagles traded Bradford to the Vikings, nine days before the season kicked off. They named Wentz the starter and the rest was history.
Ironically, both quarterbacks played poorly on Sunday. There was a point in the game where both Wentz and Bradford combined for five consecutive turnovers. Wentz threw two interceptions with a fumbled mixed in while Bradford threw an interception and also fumbled. This was all in the first quarter!
Luckily for the Eagles, Wentz settled down and did not turn the ball over the rest of the game. Wentz’s stats weren’t good, but he did throw a nice touchdown pass to Dorial Green-Beckham. Bradford played terrible the entire game, ending with three turnovers and, if it weren’t for a garbage time touchdown, he would not have lead his team to six points.
The Minnesota defense was regarded as the best in the NFL heading into Week 7, but the Eagles are doing their best to try and hold that title. Minnesota had zero sacks, but did force four turnovers. However, the Eagles defense had four turnovers and sacked Bradford six times.
If you had to pick the MVP for the game, it would go to the entire Eagles defense. Four turnovers, six sacks, and 12 quarterback hits. The entire defense stepped up on Sunday.
Four Stars
Josh Huff, Philadelphia Eagles — Huff’s kick return touchdown sparked the Eagles. He also led the team with 4 receptions and 39 yards receiving.
Brandon Graham, Philadelphia Eagles — Graham will most likely haunt Sam Bradford’s dreams tonight. He hit him a game-high four times, sacked him once, and stripped him on multiple occasions.
Jordan Hicks, Philadelphia Eagles — Hicks played his best game of the 2016 season, leading the Eagles with 11 tackles and three tackles for a loss. Hicks also added a sacks and two pass deflections.
Rodney McLeod, Philadelphia Eagles — The safety had seven tackles, a sack, a tackle for a loss, and an interception.
