After winning their final 10 regular season games last season, the Kansas City Chiefs again look dangerous. Andy Reid has his team already hitting their stride, even with Jamaal Charles still not back to full-healthy. On Sunday, though, they’ll go on the road to Lucas Oil Stadium for an NFL Week 8 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts.
Alex Smith is the same as he ever was for the Chiefs in 2016, which isn’t a bad thing. He’s game-managing his way to wins again. With the AFC West looking like arguably the best division in the league, that’s pivotal. Even more crucial, though, will be Spencer Ware and Co. leading the way to a needed win out of the division on Sunday.
It’s the Andrew Luck show in Indianapolis still, for better or worse. The better is that Luck is playing like a superstar once again in 2016 after suffering numerous injuries last season. However, the worse is that essentially every position around Luck has struggled for the Colts. Chuck Pagano will have to shore up the defense and offensive line play if they’re going to survive the Chiefs.
