Taking a look at the injury report and NFL Week 8 inactives that won’t be suiting up for their team on Sunday

Early in the 2016 NFL season, one of the narratives people were buying into was the notion that injuries were occurring at a more frequent rate than usual. That seems to have simmered a bit. However, there are still several big-name and important players being plagued with various ailments. Entering a heavy and impressive NFL Week 8 slate of games, that could be crucial if those players find themselves among the inactives.

One such player is Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy. Shady has been one of the catalysts for the Bills offense and their recently ended four-game winning streak. However, he’s listed as doubtful coming into Sunday morning and is likely to be one of the inactives in NFL Week 8. That’s a huge blow as they look to topple the New England Patriots for the second time this season.

Moreover, we also have yet another game in London in Week 8 with the Washington Redskins and Cincinnati Bengals facing off. There are several injuries that you have to keep an eye on for that game. Matt Jones has already been ruled out for Washington, but everyone’s still looking at players like Josh Norman who’s been dealing with a concussion.

Starting with the Bengals and Redskins ahead of their game at Wembley Stadium, here are the NFL Week 8 inactives (reports for the 1 p.m. ET games begin to come in around 11:30 a.m. ET):

As stated, these inactives for NFL Week 8 could drastically effect the outcomes of an impressive slate of games. Sunday features big divisional games, important inter-conference matchups, and more throughout. We’ll see how glaring some of these absences are on Sunday. Moreover, we’ll see if anyone can step up and make a name for themselves in a relief role.
