The Atlanta Falcons host the Green Bay Packers in the Georgia Dome in NFL Week 8. Here’s all of the info that you need to watch online.

As part of the NFL Week 8 slate, the 4-3 Atlanta Falcons will play host the 4-2 Green Bay Packers. These are two talented teams who have had up-and-down seasons. This matchup could have serious NFC postseason implications down the line.

The Falcons enter this game coming off of a heartbreaking 33-30 overtime loss to the San Diego Chargers this week. The Falcons started the 2016 season at 4-1, but have dropped two extremely close games the past couple of weeks. Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan is having arguably the best season of his career and is not showing any signs of slowing down. Ryan and Julio Jones should both be in for big games this week as the Packers secondary continues to be killed with injuries.

Jones is obviously a big playmaker for the Falcons offense, but they have been getting just as much production from their backfield. Both Tevin Coleman and Devonta Freeman have been major weapons for the Falcons in both the passing game and on the ground. That being said, Coleman is expected to miss this game with a hamstring injury. Coleman had become a big-play guy for the Falcons and he will be severely missed. Freeman should be able to pick up the slack in his absence, but it will not be easy against a tough Packers run defense.

The Packers have been good this season, as their 4-2 record shows; but it has not always been pretty. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is simply not playing as well as he typically does. Rodgers does not seem to have the same kind of athleticism as we are used to seeing, and his timing with his receivers seems off.

The Packers offense still has plenty of upside, but they have not played to their full capability. The offensive load is expected to continue to be placed on Rodgers’ shoulders this week. With injuries to Eddie Lacy and James Starks, the Packers rushing attack is reeling. Wide receiver Ty Montgomery has become the primary running back for the Packers. Montgomery is a weapon in the backfield, but he is best used primarily as a receiver out of the backfield.

Expect Rodgers to throw the ball all over the field against a suspect Falcons defense. Atlanta’s star cornerback Desmond Trufant is expected to shadow Jordy Nelson in this game. If that is the case, guys like Randall Cobb, Davante Adams and Montgomery could be in for big games.
