NFL Week 12 is officially here as the season continues to head into the final stretch. Who will be playing on Monday Night Football this week?

In NFL Week 12, fans will be treated to an NFC showdown on Monday Night Football, as the Philadelphia Eagles will be hosting the Green Bay Packers. This will be a matchup between two teams that are trending in the wrong direction.

The Eagles started the season red hot with their rookie quarterback Carson Wentz, but they have come back to earth in recent weeks. Philadelphia still has a 5-5 record, but that has them in last place in the extremely competitive NFC East. With the Cowboys being 10-1, the best the Eagles can hope for is a Wild Card spot.

For the Packers, they have been one of the most puzzling teams in the league. Injuries have certainly affected them in recent weeks, but they are on a four-game losing streak and are just 4-6 on the season.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been considered one of the best in the game for the past few seasons, but he has played poorly this season. In 2016, Rodgers has totaled 25 touchdown passes and seven interceptions. While those numbers aren’t bad for Rodgers, a lot of them have come with the Packers trailing in games.

With both teams being around the .500 mark, this is a must-win game. The Wild Card race in the NFC is very close right now, but another loss at this point in the season would likely end both team’s chances.

The Eagles certainly have the advantage of being at home in Week 12. This season, the Eagles have yet to lose a game at home. For the Packers, playing on the road has been a struggle, as they are 1-4 this season. Monday Night Football will surely mean a lot for the playoff picture in the NFC. Let’s see if Rodgers and the Packers can keep their season alive.
