Tennessee Titans wideout Rishard Matthews found the end zone again, this one complete with a gorgeous diving catch for the touchdown.

Tennessee Titans second-year quarterback Marcus Mariota has been lights-out in recent weeks. Though he’s still had some ugly turnovers at times, he’s been locked-in for the most part and it’s been a thing of beauty. One of the best aspects has certainly been his connection with wide receiver Rishard Matthews. In his first year in Tennessee, Matthews has made a habit of finding the end zone on long throws. He did it again against the Chicago Bears in Week 12.

Mariota and the Titans were rolling in the first half as the injury depleted Bears struggled to just keep their head above water. While they may have been trying, they couldn’t get a breath of air with the dime that the quarterback dropped and the catch that Matthews made.

Throwing deep in the right-middle of the end zone, Matthews had just a step and a half on his man on a deep post route. Mariota put the ball in the perfect spot, but still needed  bit of help from his wideout. Matthews more than delivered as the former Dolphin laid out to secure a gorgeous grab for the touchdown:

The best part is how calmly Matthews gets to his feet. He’s becoming so accustomed to making these big plays that he’s not even impressed anymore.

Early in Week 12, there have been some absolutely fantastic catches, but this one might be tops. Between the burst at the end to get more separation and get to the ball and then the concentration to dive and hold on, this is a gorgeous catch on a beautiful throw. They’ve got something cooking with these Titans.
