New York Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins came at Cleveland Browns receiver Terrelle Pryor with a ton of hostility, but the latter’s kind response was perfect.

The Cleveland Browns were handed their 12th loss of the 2016 NFL season on Sunday. Despite keeping things close for three quarters, they couldn’t hang with the New York Giants down the stretch, losing 27-13. As has been the case for many Browns losses this season, though, Terrelle Pryor was one of the brightest spots with his production at receiver.

Pryor, famously a converted quarterback, hauled in six passes for 131 yards on the day. Moreover, he actually put the Browns in great position to tie the Giants in the fourth quarter with a 54-yard catch, but a turnover thwarted his efforts (and gave the Giants six points as it was returned for a score).

On that 54-yard bomb, though, Pryor burned the Giants in the open field. It didn’t appear that anything major was said between Pryor and the secondary, but apparently something about the Browns wideout didn’t sit right with Janoris Jenkins. Because after the game, the 2016 free-agent signing for New York took to Twitter and had this to say to Pryor:

Again, I have no real idea why Jenkins came on social media so hostile other than maybe he was offended that his team got burned so badly on that one play.

Rather than get into some childish war on Twitter, though, Pryor came back with the perfect response to the corner. As they always say, kill ‘em with kindess:

When someone then replied that Jenkins was a top-three cornerback in the NFL, Pryor doubled down on his kind words:

That’s absolute perfection in terms of social media from Terrelle Pryor. He took the high road and we all recognize that—and get a good laugh at how mad that had to make Jenkins.

In addition to Pryor’s emergence as a viable receiving threat in the Browns offense, his maturity has been incredibly impressive this season. For a player that was dismissed from the Ohio State team and selected in the supplemental draft as a result, he’s clearly come a long way in terms of personal growth. As he’s set to enter free agency this summer, it’d be a shame to see the Browns let such a talent and now consummate pro leave.
