New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is a machine as he can still deliver the goods on what seems like an off day.

After watching Rob Gronkowski walk to the tunnel, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was prepared to come out firing in the second quarter against the New York Jets. The opposition held him to just 4.2 yards per attempt and a 55 percent completion rate.

But Brady was still able to hit Malcolm Mitchell for six to tie the game up at 10-10.

Brady had to recover from dropping the snap in order to find Mitchell in the back of the end zone for the touchdown, but you can always count on Tommy B to keep a cool head and deliver the accurate pass in a critical part of the field.

His wife was certainly elated to see the Patriots score to tie things up against their bitter rivals, as she applauded the touchdown.

The score was Brady’s 17th of the season, and what makes his touchdown total all the more impressive is the fact that he has thrown just one interception this year. His completion percentage will dip from below its 70 percent perch today, because the Jets defense was playing fantastic football.

Let’s give some credit to Mitchell, too. The rookie fourth-round sleeper out of Georgia had been quiet for most of the season, but he broke out last week against the San Francisco 49ers with a long touchdown. Today’s score against the Jets is just the second of his career, but it is also his second in the last two games.
