The Kansas City Chiefs face the Atlanta Falcons at the Georgia Dome in NFL Week 13. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Coming off of a thriller in primetime last week, the Kansas City Chiefs will be put to the test again. They’ve put themselves into a Wild Card spot out of the AFC right now. However, the tight race both in the AFC West and the conference as a whole make that fickle. Subsequently, they’ll need to pass their next road test. That comes in NFL Week 13 as they travel to take on the Atlanta Falcons at the Georgia Dome.
With Jeremy Maclin slated to be out again for the Chiefs, expect to see emerging star Tyreek Hill to come up big and play a prominent role in the KC offense again. He’s a big play waiting to happen with his speed and Alex Smith needs that type of weapon. Then you have the defense, the heart of this team. Justin Houston already looks back to his dominant self. Moreover, they should be getting healthier this game in the secondary. Clearly, that’s good news for KC on the road.
The defense may be the heart of the Chiefs, but it’s the offense that the Falcons thrive on. Matt Ryan has been putting up MVP-type numbers. With weapons like Julio Jones, Mohamed Sanu, and Devonta Freeman around him, it’s not hard to see why. However, now that Desmond Trufant and Adrian Clayborne are out, this defense is ready to implode. What Dan Quinn can do to survive that could determine the outcome on Sunday.
