Jets Security Tackles Streakers Better Than Team Does Colts (Video)
Someone tell the New York Jets they need to sign the MetLife Stadium security to their defense after seeing the hits they put on streakers.
The New York Jets couldn’t do anything right on Monday Night Football in Week 13 against the Indianapolis Colts. On their first three offensive possessions, they went three-and-out. To make matters worse, they allowed touchdown throws to a wide-open Dwayne Allen on the first two Colts possessions. What was once supposed to be a strength for New York, their defense looked absolutely abysmal on Monday night. They couldn’t cover and, even worse, couldn’t tackle.
That said, maybe they should look into signing some of the security guards at MetLife Stadium. Because frankly, they showed better form on Monday than anyone on the 46-man active roster.
I suppose to try and add some excitement to the dismal affair in East Rutherford, two fans without shirts ran onto the field during the game. They took off with, as Kevin Harlan said on the broadcast, “great speed.” However, the first of the duo got absolutely leveled by the first security guard that reacted. Streaker No. 2 then ran a bit longer before another security guard came flying in for a huge hit:
Great power, solid form, a job well done—when these things better describe your security than your team’s defense, that’s a problem.

2016 hasn’t been kind to the Jets from the start, really. However, after they got blown out on Monday Night Football by a mediocre-at-best Colts team, things look worse than ever. At least they’ll always have the highlight-reel of their security…for whatever that’s worth.
