It has been a tough year for Houston Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler. He signed a massive $72 million deal in the offseason and currently sits at No. 28 in our Quarterback Power Rankings. His play just hasn’t added up this year and the questions of him getting benched has already been thrown around.

Many fans want to see him earn the money he was paid, but at this point it may have been a huge mistake for the Texans the shell out all that cash to a player who hasn’t proved anything in the NFL.
In Week 15, Osweiler continued his poor play.
This was Osweiler’s first interception of the day and the first interception of Jalen Ramsey’s promising career. The wide receiver could have helped by making an unbelievable catch, but Osweiler needs to put that ball on his target. They high passed wasn’t caught and Ramsey made the Texans pay.
If that wasn’t bad enough, Osweiler threw his second interception of the day on the next drive. It led to a lot of boos and head coach Bill O’Brien deciding he has seen enough. Osweiler was benched for Tom Savage and it seems that his time in Houston may already be over.
Savage came into the game and delivered a 32-yard strike that got the fans excited and energized. It also made Osweiler look even worse considering that 32-yard pass only put Savage 16 yards behind Osweiler, who threw the ball nine more times while he was still in the game.
