Ezekiel Elliott punched in a Dallas Cowboys touchdown and celebrated his efforts by leaping into the giant Salvation Army kettle.

If there’s one thing that you can count on seeing around the holiday season, it’s the Salvation Army kettles. Outside of stores and on the streets, the workers are collecting money for a great cause with the kettles. Moreover, there are other collections elsewhere. With Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and his family being heavily involved with Salvation Army, it only figured they’d have a giant kettle outside of one of the end zones at AT&T Stadium. Subsequently, Ezekiel Elliott also found the perfect celebration.

After the Cowboys forced a Jameis Winston fumble, it was a short field for Dallas. After a few nice gains, they fed their rookie running back workhorse and he punched it in with ease.

Following adding six points to his total, though, Elliott had to add a bit of flair to the whole affair. Therefore, the rookie took off full speed out of the back of the end zone, made a beeline for the giant kettle, and then hurdled right into it. Just to top it off, he sheepishly peeked out, much to the amusement of everyone watching:

Though he might’ve been flagged for this celebration, put Ezekiel Elliott in the running for Celebration of the Year. Of course, that award isn’t a real thing because the NFL isn’t a fan of players enjoying themselves and having fun after scoring points.

Even still, it’s a brilliant celebration effort from the rookie with a relatively high degree of difficulty given the hurdle straight into it. If he keeps putting up six points like he has as a rookie, Jones, Jason Garrett, and the Cowboys will take the celebration penalty, I’m sure.
