President Donald Trump has made his Super Bowl 51 prediction and he’s staying true to his friends.

Super Bowl 51 might be the hardest installment of the Big Game to call in recent memory. The New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons head into Houston, TX being very evenly matched and with both teams having a viable shot to win. That should make for one of the more exciting games in recent memory.

However, that also means that it’s an exceptionally difficult game to predict. Most everyone has either oscillated between who they think is going to win over the past two weeks. What’s more, you only need to read one bit of conflicting analysis to your own to start questioning the prediction you just made. At least one man in the United States is confident in his prediction, though: President Donald Trump.

Everyone had been waiting for the 45th President of the United States to make his prediction and, on Super Bowl Sunday, he finally delivered. And frankly, it’s the least shocking prediction of them all.

According to TMZ Sports, President Trump is picking the Patriots to win by eight points over the Falcons. That’s a predictable prediction considering that Trump has long-standing relationships with Tom Brady, team owner Robert Kraft, and even head coach Bill Belichick.

Though Trump may be confident, what’s a bit shocking is the margin of victory that he’s predicting. We shall see if that’s the case or if Trump backing his friends is actually the smarter prediction.
