Tracking all of the highlights and score updates from Super Bowl 51 between the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons.
Super Bowl 51 has finally arrived, pitting the New England Patriots out of the AFC against the Atlanta Falcons out of the NFC against one another. These have been two of the more exciting and explosive teams all season. So it was only fitting that they would meet in the Big Game from NRG Stadium in Houston, TX for the right to hoist the Lombardi Trophy and call themselves champions.
Just one night before Super Bowl 51, Falcons quarterback took home the 2016 NFL MVP award for a fantastic season. However, it was his quarterbacking adversary in Patriots signal-caller Tom Brady that finished just behind him. Had Brady played in all 16 games (thanks, Deflategate), you have to wonder if he would’ve been able to edge out Ryan for the award.
However, this is all about the game in Houston to determine the NFL’s champion. Without question, Brady vs Ryan and these two offenses dueling is the dominant narrative and rightfully so. With that said, both defenses played extremely well in the postseason to get to Super Bowl 51. Subsequently, there was the lingering question of if each team would be able to come through in this big moment.
Needless to say, though, these two fantastic and explosive teams were always going to put up a fireworks show in Houston. Therefore, we don’t want you to miss a second of the action. You can keep track of all of the highlights throughout the game below and with the score at the top of the page:
