Seattle Seahawks: When does 2017 training camp start?
Taking a look at when the Seattle Seahawks 2017 training camp will begin as they look ahead towards another potential playoff run.
It feels like almost a formality at this point that the Seattle Seahawks are going to be contenders. Hell, even last year when they were lacking on the offensive line and banged up as a whole, many still refused to count them out. However, many of the same questions that they had a year ago persist. And now they’re left heading into the 2017 season with high expectations, but maybe not enough to meet them.
The biggest concern for Seattle remains their offensive line. Russell Wilson was almost killed on numerous occasions one season ago, and the line was the culprit behind that. They drafted Ethan Pocic to help alleviate that issue. But ultimately, he’s just one guy. How much good is that going to do them when they have issues at four of the five spots up front?
Not a lot, would be the correct answer regarding that situation. What does work in their favor, though, is that they still have an elite defense and still have Russell Wilson. Though they have both shown varying levels of effectiveness in recent years, that’s still enough to be a playoff caliber team.
Now the Seahawks are heading in the direction of training camp facing this situation, trying to make positive things happen. So when then do they get on the road to trying to do just that? Specifically, when is the Seattle Seahawks 2017 training camp getting underway?

Seattle will head to Renton, WA for their 2017 training camp on Sunday, July 30. That’s where it all begin, and hopefully where their problems will be worked out. If not, this could be a disappointingly short season for the Seahawks.
