3. The New Orleans Saints have a record better than 7-9

This is less of a prediction and more of a hope. Please let the Saints win more than seven games this year and break the evil curse upon them. Did anyone think of contacting Lil B to find out if he’s responsible for this?

Bad joke aside, the Saints have been on this streak and it needs to come to an end. They have all the tools now to win over seven games or to clinch the NFC South. Even if they don’t win the NFC South, they’ve made a lot of improvements and they deserve to win over seven games. It’s not going to be easy as they have some tough competitors in the Patriots, Packers and Dolphins.

Brees will anchor the offense aided by Peterson, Ginn and Thomas so they should have no trouble scoring. Defensively, they have Lattimore, Rankins and Bell so making plays might take them a while but it’s going to happen. Let’s not forget about their special teams and kicker, Will Lutz who made almost 90 percent of his field goals last season. All the pieces are there so the Saints have to put them together and hope for the best.

Most of these predictions actually have a decent chance of coming true so we’ll see if the Saints can accomplish all of them. It’s going to take a lot of teamwork and they have that aplenty. I have faith they will achieve one, at minimum.
