We take a look at the three Los Angeles Chargers football players that are guaranteed to make the 2017-2018 Pro Bowl in Orlando.
The Los Angeles Chargers will be looking to change their fortunes this year, as injuries and losses sank their 2016 season. It’s not like this team is without talent, they just lost too many pieces and too many close football games to be successful last year. That being said, a healthy Chargers football could surprise a lot of people in 2017.
Even if this isn’t a team that makes their way into the playoffs, there will be more than enough Chargers representing the team in the Pro Bowl. Take a look at the current Chargers’ players and their Pro Bowl resumes:
- Antonio Gates: 8 Pro Bowl appearances
- Eric Weddle: 3 Pro Bowl appearances
- Philip Rivers: 6 Pro Bowl appearances
- Jason Verrett: 1 Pro Bowl appearance
- Melvin Gordon: 1 Pro Bowl appearance
I hope you notice that there is some major Pro Bowl experience on this current football team, especially from the Chargers’ leaders. While Rivers and Gates are on the backside of their careers, Verrett and Gordon are just getting started.
That being said, let’s take a look at three Los Angeles Chargers that are guaranteed to make the Pro Bowl this season.
