Dallas Cowboys: 5 Early bold predictions for the 2017 season

The Dallas Cowboys open training camp in five short days, so to celebrate, here are five bold predictions for the 2017 squad.

Football season is around the corner. After a long offseason of waiting, we are about to get our first large dose of football in months. When the Dallas Cowboys arrive in Oxnard, CA for training camp, their 2017 campaign officially kicks off.

After a strong 2016 season that featured the emergence of two of the NFL’s most popular rising stars, the Cowboys have a lot to build on. Quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott should both improve upon promising rookie seasons.

The excitement doesn’t stop with the fans either. Wide receiver Dez Bryant recently referred to the 2017 team as “the best team he has ever played for.” Certainly there are question marks, namely in the trenches. Will the defensive line play improve? Will the offensive line be the same after losing two starters from last season?

We will have to wait until training camp and beyond for answers to those questions, as it’s a little early for answers. But, it’s never too early for bold predictions. Keep in mind these come exactly as advertised: bold. These won’t be easy tasks for the Dallas Cowboys to accomplish. But if they do…
