When asked about the Dallas Cowboys prospects of winning the Super Bowl, Terrell Owens said he thinks they have a good chance.

Where former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens goes, the media follows. Everyone loves a good T.O. story from time to time, and after appearing on Adam Schefter’s podcast, Know Them from Adam, Owens certainly gave us all a new headline.

During his time in the league, T.O. was notorious for being a public relations nightmare. However, there is no denying his status among the elite receivers in NFL history. You don’t get to be third on the all-time touchdown reception list without being a hell of a football player, no matter what antics accompanied him.

Of his 153 career touchdowns, 38 of them came during his three-year stint with the Dallas Cowboys. So naturally, Schefter asked Owens about his thoughts on the chances that America’s Team finds them in the big game this year. The former Cowboys receiver was quick to sing the praises of Dak Prescott.

More from Dallas Cowboys

"You look at the way Prescott played last year – this guy played lights out, [he was the] rookie of the year, there’s a lot of upside to that guy. I can only imagine what he is going to be in the years to come."

And rightfully so. Prescott certainly outperformed everyone’s expectations, leading the Cowboys to a Cinderella story of a season. But, he still hadn’t answered the big question. Will the Dallas Cowboys find themselves playing in February?

"They’re going to be a force to be reckoned with, they can definitely compete for the Super Bowl this year."

It appears that Owens certainly thinks so. Hopefully he’s right in that assesment, and Dallas can finally make that jump — you know, past the Divisional Round. And who knows, maybe T.O. helps them pull it off…

Nah, that’s crazy.
