1. Kenny Britt, Cleveland Browns

Fantasy Football Calculator ADP: 13.05

Kenny Britt seems like he’s been in the league forever, but the former Scarlet Knight is only 28-years old (29 in September) and had a career-year last season with the Los Angeles Rams. Britt finished with 111 targets, 68 receptions, 1,002 yards and five touchdowns. He finished as the 29th PPR wide receiver despite playing in the 31st ranked passing offense. Here’s a sentence that might sound funny: Britt is in a better position to put up better numbers in 2017 because he’s playing with the Browns.

Last season the Cleveland Browns offense helped produced the 20th best PPR wide receiver in Terrelle Pryor. Pryor finished with 140 targets in 2016, but with him now in Washington, Britt should see a bulk of those targets as the team’s new No. 1 wide receiver. Keep in mind, the Browns also parted with tight end Gary Barnidge, who was second on the Browns in targets (82), receptions (55) and receiving yards (612).

The Browns starting quarterback position does have its question marks. Either Cody Kessler, Brock Osweiler or DeShone Kizer will be the team’s starting quarterback but I have more confidence in them than the 2016 versions of Case Keenum and Jared Goff. If Britt can have a career season with Keenum and Goff, he should be able to better his numbers from 2016 with what the Browns will be trotting out there in Week 1. Britt is basically free money at his 13th-round ADP.
