How to watch NFL Preseason 2017 games online

Taking a look at how fans can watch the 2017 NFL preseason games online at any point throughout the lead-up to the regular campaign.

The 2017 NFL preseason has finally come to us. It all started with the Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 3, but things are about to pick up for the 30 other teams in the league. Things officially start on Wednesday, Aug. 9 with the Carolina Panthers and Houston Texans facing off, a battle between two exciting rookies with Christian McCaffrey and Deshaun Watson, respectively.

Obviously there are ups and downs to the NFL preseason. It’s not the same as the regular season as the starters aren’t playing entire games. In fact, starters likely won’t play even half of a game until the third week of the preseason.

Instead, much of the NFL preseason is about trying to fill out the 53 man roster and fill out the depth chart. Even still, that should be exciting for fans. As a construct of that, we could see these players carve out a role that will be huge in the regular season. After all, injuries are still a thing, as is the next man up mentality.

What’s more, there are a number of critical rookies and storylines to follow. Even with the aforementioned Texans, we’ll all be watching the quarterback battle. The same can be said for the Cleveland Browns and the Denver Broncos, and in other places surely.

Subsequently, you won’t want to miss the 2017 NFL preseason. But luckily, you don’t have to. There are a number of ways to watch it online.

Every out-of-market game can be accessed through NFL Game Pass, which requires a paid subscription. Game Pass also has every NFL preseason game replay after it airs. What’s more, games shown on NFL Network will be streaming on NFL.com. Furthermore, fans can also watch NBC games on NBC Sports Live, ESPN games on Watch ESPN and CBS games on NFL.com as well.
