Philadelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver Mack Hollins found the end zone after unleashing a nasty stiff arm in a preseason game against the Packers.

Mack Hollins could’ve been a much higher 2017 NFL Draft pick had he not been injured his final season with the North Carolina Tar Heels. However, that was his reality, so he had to prove himself in workouts. That he did, showing off his impressive frame, hands and athleticism. Still, he lasted until the fourth round, which was when the Philadelphia Eagles nabbed him.

Throughout offseason workouts and then in training camp, Hollins has received rave reviews. It only took until the first quarter of his first preseason game to show off why that’s been the case.

Midway through the first quarter, the Eagles were in Packers territory and trying to keep a drive alive. Quarterback Carson Wentz almost got taken down by Clay Matthews, but he ducked it and found some room. That’s when he fired a missile to Hollins over the middle. The rookie then made the magic happen.

Hollins turned on his uncanny speed for his size and got to the left sidelines. He shrugged off one defender, but then unleashed a monster stiff-arm that dismissed the second defender and cleared the way to the end zone:

That’s exceptional work from any wide receiver, much less a rookie.

Many agreed after the draft that Hollins was one of the overall steals. Not only is he a high-upside offensive player, but also a great special teams contributor. If this is what he’s already showing, though, he might be an integral part of the revamped Eagles offense.

For now, though, we’ll take him just dishing out wicked stiff-arms, reminding us and Packers defenders that NFL football is indeed back.
