The Tennessee Titans face the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on Saturday Aug. 12 in the 2017 NFL preseason. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

New York Jets football has finally returned. It may not count in the standings but it’s a football game. Those of us who have missed it for all of these months are thrilled to have it back. Saturday night, Marcus Mariota and the rest of the Tennessee Titans head to MetLife Stadium to open the preseason against the Jets. Week 1 of the preseason is interesting because we begin to see the mixing and matching of personnel to see who might be the best fit on the 53 man roster.

For New York, expect to see a heavy dose of Christian Hackenberg. After running with the second string for most of camp, he finally got to play with the starters this week. The session didn’t go how he had hoped it would, but it is still an indication that the team will take a long look on Saturday night.

He has a young receiving group to learn and a young defense backing him up on the other side of the line of scrimmage. It is a new-look Jets team that is looking to find its  identity as the preseason opens.

We won’t see much of him on this night, but Marcus Mariota comes in looking to take his team to the next level. In his third year, he brings with him a team that finished the 2016 campaign at 9-7. In addition to DeMarco Murray and Delanie Walker, the Titans bring an old friend.

Eric Decker signed with the team after being released by the Jets, a player the Jets could have used right about now. Mariota’s development in year three will be key in determining the Titans playoff fate in 2017.

This game will be broadcast in local markets. However, all fans can stream the game through NFL Game Pass, which requires a paid subscription to utilize.
