Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown has been blessed with the opportunity of a lifetime, and he made sure to give back to the city that has embraced him.

Given the current state of the league, any news or articles often portray the men we see on Sundays in a negative light. Despite a few bad apples, the majority of men in the NFL are good people with kind hearts, and Pittsburgh Steelers wideout Antonio Brown takes no exception.

Although Brown has already contributed a desirable amount to both his hometown of Miami, FL and the city of Pittsburgh, his most recent charitable act may have taken the cake.

This past weekend, the eight-year veteran for the Steelers collaborated with fellow sponsor  Sprayground, a company that produces top of the line backpacks and other fashion materials, to make donations to Pittsburgh Public Schools. More than that, the all-world wide receiver helped deliver the materials to the young students as well.

Brown littered his social media with pictures and Snapchats showing the mountainous amount of backpacks that were eventually stuffed with school supplies and given to over 1,000 children in Pittsburgh.

This was just the latest act of generosity since Brown came into the league. In December 2016, the Central Michigan product donated $100,000 to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, while hosting several charity softball/basketball games to benefit those less fortunate.

For a man who grew up without guidance due to a poor home life, even going as far as to sleeping on any couch he could stay in high school, its admirable to see Antonio recognize the tools he has to help children see brighter days. Business is always boomin’ for Brown, whether it be on the field or building a positive example off the field.
