The Atlanta Falcons and Arizona Cardinals are set to square off on Saturday night, take a look at three players that you need to be watching.
What a cool opportunity that these two teams have set before them for this Saturday night in Atlanta, as the Atlanta Falcons andCArizona Cardinals will have the opportunity to break in the new Mercedes-Benze Stadium.
For Falcons fans, it seems like this day has taken forever to come. We’ve been watching the contraction teams build this stadium for numerous years, but now we will get to watch the Dirty Birds finally take the field in their new nest — it truly is the beginning of a new era of Falcons football.
We already know that starting Falcons’ running back Devonta Freeman will not be playing on Saturday, but there’s still a chance we could see Julio Jones suit up for the first time this preseason. While I’m not a huge fan of Dan Quinn letting Jones play against Arizona, it wouldn’t hurt to get him on the field for more reps.

While a player of Jones’ caliber doesn’t need as many reps in the preseason as most, I’m sure it might help Matt Ryan and Jones to connect a few times against a defense other than Atlanta’s. Starters playing or not, this is going to be an exciting night in Atlanta. The stadium will surely have a ton of buzz surrounding it, as everyone in Georgia has high expectations for this football team in 2017.
That being said, take a look at three players you must watch in this game between the Falcons and Cardinals.
