The Kansas City Chiefs take on the Seattle Seahawks on Friday, Aug. 25 in the 2017 NFL preseason. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
It’s Week 3 of the NFL Preseason and the Seattle Seahawks are set to host Kansas City Chiefs of Friday, August 25. Both teams were winners of their respective divisions on 2016 and are looking for a chance to repeat in the coming 2017 NFL season.
For Seattle, they’re trying to get back to the Super Bowl, after missing out on it the past couple seasons following two straight appearances following the 2013 and 2014 seasons. They won one of those with their young star quarterback Russell Wilson and their “Legion of Boom” defense led by cornerback Richard Sherman.
Look for those guys to get a lot of play on Friday, as should other starters for the ‘Hawks as they try to get a glimpse of what their number one unit will look like this year.

As for the Chiefs, they’re hoping to start making some noise in the playoffs after far too many early exits over their recent stretch of successful seasons. Most blame the ultra-conservative approach of veteran quarterback Alex Smith, and the team’s decision makers proved they agree.
Kansas City traded up from pick No. 27 to No. 10 in order to get rookie quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The rookie has been fantastic so far, but should back up Smith until the team feels he’s ready — or until Smith’s love of throwing the ball away on third down causes head coach Andy Reid to flip out and yank him.
