The Houston Texans face the New Orleans Saints on Saturday, Aug. 26 in the 2017 NFL Preseason. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Mediocrity overall has been the name of the game for the Houston Texans and New Orleans Saints in recent years. Sure, the Texans have boasted a better brand of mediocre play in making the playoffs, but no one has mistaken them for world-beaters by any stretch. As such, they are both looking to better themselves coming into 2017.

Now the Saints and Texans face off in the ever-important Week 3 of the NFL Preseason. This is known as the “dress rehearsal” game for many as the starting men will take the field. For the Saints, that likely still doesn’t mean we’ll see Adrian Peterson just yet. However, we should see the rest of the crew.

What should be fun is watching the New Orleans starters on offense take on the vaunted Texans defense. For as good as Drew Brees and the Saints are, the Houston defense led by J.J. Watt may be even better. As such, this is very much a clash between two titanic units that should be a joy to watch in this preseason contest.
