The Miami Dolphins face the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday, Aug. 31 in the 2017 NFL preseason. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

It’s a bit ironic that the Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings will square off on Thursday night in the final game of the 2017 NFL preseason. To some degree, the Dolphins find themselves in the situation that the Vikings did a year ago at quarterback. With their young franchise-hopeful going down, they both had to turn to a veteran: the Vikings traded for Sam Bradford while the Dolphins signed Jay Cutler.

Bradford and Cutler won’t be seeing any action on Thursday night, however. This is the time when teams are more or less trying to decide battles at the bottom of the eventual 53-man roster and the practice squad. Thus, we’ll see guys competing for those spots.

Given their histories with injuries, this could be an important time for both the Vikings and Dolphins. They know how debilitating such an injury could be. As such, they could think long and hard about these decisions.
