Eagles vs Jets live stream: Watch NFL Preseason online
By Randy Gurzi
The Philadelphia Eagles take on the New York Jets on Thursday, Aug. 31 in the 2017 NFL preseason. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Here are two teams heading in the complete opposite direction meeting up in the final week of the 2017 NFL Preseason. The New York Jets will host the Philadelphia Eagles in this one and the home team comes into this one resembling a dumpster fire.
The Jets are always a mess, but this season is significantly worse. They have no one to truly trust at the quarterback spot, and after years of trying to “figure out what Geno Smith has,” they are now trying to figure out what either Christian Hackenberg or Bryce Petty have.
Let’s save the drama. They have nothing that makes them viable NFL starters. Neither does their veteran Josh McCown who has won two of his last 22 starts. At least they’re only a week away from starting their push for the No. 1 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

As for the Eagles, they have their starter of the future in quarterback Carson Wentz. He didn’t light the world on fire as a rookie, but he showed enough poise and leadership to warrant hope in the City of Brotherly Love.
He has some new weapons as well in Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith at receiver. None of those guys should suit up though as teams are in the mode of avoiding injury and preparing for Week 1 of the regular season.
Details for Thursday’s game are below:
Date: Thursday, Aug. 31
Start Time: 7:00 p.m. ET
Location: East Rutherford, NJ
Stadium: MetLife Stadium
TV Info: NFL Network

Will the Jets figure anything further out about the direction of their future in this matchup? More pressingly, could the Eagles find some potential developmental studs to hang on to? It’ll be interesting to see on Thursday night.
