Defense/Special Teams

Start of the Week: Houston Texans ($3,800 DK/$5,100 FD) vs. Jacksonville

Blake Bortles. Need I say more?

Value Pick of the Week: LA Rams ($3,200 DK/$4,600 FD) vs. Indianapolis

The Rams are without their best defensive player in Aaron Donald, but more importantly is that the Colts are without their star quarterback, Andrew Luck. With just two touchdowns to his seven career interceptions, you can bank on the back up quarterback making plenty of mistakes.

Deep Sleeper: New York Jets ($2,400 DK/$4,000 FD) at Buffalo

Do I love this start? No, absolutely not. But it could be worth a shot if you are left with little money to spend on your defense. The Bills could be without Tyrod Taylor, which would force rookie Nathan Peterman into action. Unprepared rookie quarterbacks making their first start is usually a recipe for disaster.

Best of the Rest:

– Buffalo Bills ($3,900 DK/$4,700 FD)
– Pittsburgh Steelers ($3,600 DK/$4,800 FD)
– Atlanta Falcons ($3,300 DK/$4,700 FD)
