The Philadelphia Eagles face the Washington Redskins at FedExField in NFL Week 1. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
On Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Redskins will kick off their 2017 regular season with an important NFC East matchup. Philadelphia enters the 2017 season after having one of the most impressive offseason in the entire NFL. If there were an offseason MVP, vice president of football operations Howie Roseman would win the award.
The Eagles added wide receivers Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith to help the progression of second-year quarterback Carson Wentz. The 2016 No. 2 overall pick is looking to build off of his rookie season and show that the Eagles made the right choice trading up in the draft for him.
On the flip side, Washington enters the 2017 season with quarterback Kirk Cousins. Cousins had an impressive 2016 season and is looking to cement himself as one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL. Washington has already tried to help Cousins show that by adding wide receiver Terrelle Pryor this offseason.
