The Jacksonville Jaguars faces the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium in NFL Week 1. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

In an AFC South showdown, the Jacksonville Jaguars head to Texas to play the Houston Texans. The Jags lost both meetings last season, although the games were close as just four-points separated them in the two contests. Now they both look to get the edge in the race for one of the weaker divisions from a season ago.

Houston was the victor in the south for a second-straight year in 2016 with a 9-7 record. They were able to win via a tie breaker with the Tennessee Titans. They did so despite the atrocious play of Brock Osweiler at quarterback. With him gone, they will turn to Tom Savage — who took over the job in the team’s 21-20 victory over Jacksonville in Week 15.

He relieved Osweiler and threw for 260 yards in the big win. Now he tries to hold off rookie first round pick Deshaun Watson.

The Jaguars are dealing with their own quarterback issues now as Blake Bortles is beginning to unravel — more so than usual. His interceptions have frustrated the coaching staff, and he even drew the ire of receiver Allen Robinson in training camp thanks to his inaccuracy. Helping him this year should be fourth overall pick Leonard Fournette. The LSU running back is a beast, and can do wonders in taking the pressure off the mistake-prone signal caller.
