The Oakland Raiders face the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 10 in NFL Week 1. Here is all the info you need to watch.
Two teams that finished with winning records clash in Week 1. The Oakland Raiders travel to Nashville to play the Tennessee Titans. They both feature talented, but different offenses.
Tennessee is all about pounding the rock, but they’re trying to get better all around. With DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry at running back that approach makes sense. However, this offseason they added some weapons for quarterback Marcus Mariota. With their fifth-overall pick Tennessee added wide receiver Corey Davis out of Western Michigan. They also picked up veteran wide out Eric Decker and may finally be a dangerous passing team.
For Oakland, they were already a dangerous team through the air. Quarterback Derek Carr has excelled at spreading the ball between receivers Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree. Now they’ve added slot receiver Cordarrelle Patterson and tight end Jared Cook for Carr to utilize. Like Tennessee, they also want to be more rounded, so they made a splash move to acquire former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch. If he can regain some of the spark he had before retiring, Oakland will be a force in the AFC.
