The Los Angeles Chargers face the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field on Monday, Sept. 11. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
The Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos will get to relax while almost every other NFL team is playing this Sunday afternoon, as these two will open up on the latter slate of ESPN’s Monday Night Football — behind the New Orleans Saints vs Minnesota Vikings.
While Denver is looking to regain their Super Bowl form in 2017, the Chargers are looking to just get back to the NFL Playoffs. We all know how physical division games can become in the NFL, don’t be surprised when this match-up turns out the same on Monday, especially under the bright lights of a nationally televised game.
Even with Philip Rivers under center for Los Angeles and Trevor Siemian for Denver, I fully expect this to frustrate Fantasy Football owners and become a defensive slug-fest. While the Chargers clearly have a more dangerous offense than the Broncos, both defenses have the potential to finish inside of the top ten by the end of the 2017 season.
Needless to say, I doubt either team scores over 21 points on Monday night.
Fans around the country can view this game on ESPN, as this will be the second game of ESPN’s Monday Night Football programming. You can access Watch ESPN online or through the app using a paid subscription.
