1. Oakland defense gets two pick-sixes

Buffalo traded away their best cornerback in the preseason when they sent Ronald Darby to the Philadelphia Eagles. He was their best because they lost Stephon Gilmore in free agency to the New England Patriots. Even without any big names in the secondary the Bills picked off McCown twice with both Poyer and fellow safety Micah Hyde getting in on the action.

Oakland has a better secondary for McCown to face and the results will be deadly if he isn’t careful. If his career up until now is any indication, he won’t be. That will play into the Raiders hands as the improving defense will get their hands on a few passes.

In doing so they should be able to make good on a couple pick-sixes. With ballhawks like safety Reggie Nelson back there, Oakland is primed for the big play. They also will have Mack running free forcing up passes quicker than he would like. Oakland will be more than happy to take advantage and then juke and dance their way across the goal line against this rag-tag offensive unit.

In the end this game will most likely be ugly. These two franchises are on different ends of the spectrum. Oakland is building a contender, and the Jets are tanking worse than the Philadelphia 76ers could dream of.
