The Arizona Cardinals face the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Sept. 17 in NFL Week 2. Here is all the info you need to watch.

The Sunday slate of games for Week 2 of the NFL season kicks off with an inter-conference matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and the Indianapolis Colts. Both teams enter Week 2 at 0-1 after immensely disappointing opening games.

The Cardinals held a two-point lead at the start of the fourth quarter. However, after giving up 20 unanswered points to the Detroit Lions, they ended up losing 35-23. The Colts, missing franchise quarterback Andrew Luck, looked terrible against the Los Angeles Rams in their opening game. The Colts lost the game 46-9, failing to gain even 250 offensive yards and turning the ball over three times.

This game will likely be decided by which team is best suited to replace their franchise players. Luck will not be playing once again in Week 2, and the Colts will likely have quarterback Jacoby Brissett under center to replace him. Indianapolis originally had Brissett on the bench in Week 1, yet brought him in the final quarter after Scott Tolzien struggled. The Colts acquired Brissett in a trade with the New England Patriots earlier this month.

The Cardinals not only blew a fourth-quarter lead in Week 1, but also lost star running back David Johnson to a wrist injury. Johnson is expected to miss 2-3 months and no clear replacement is on the roster. Johnson is vital to what Arizona does on offense and the Cardinals will quickly need to establish a new game plan if they cannot rely on any of their other running backs.

It will be interesting to see how Brissett does now that he knows he will be starting. Brisset has only started two games in his career, a victory over the Houston Texans and a loss to the Miami Dolphins, both last season. The Colts would like to believe that Luck will be able to lead them to the playoffs after he returns. However, if the Luck returns to a team that is winless, that might be a hole too big to dig out of.
