The Philadelphia Eagles face the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Sept. 17 in NFL Week 2. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
On Sunday, Sept. 17 the Philadelphia Eagles travel to Kansas City, MO to take on the Kansas City Chiefs for Week 2 action of the 2017 NFL season. Both teams won their Week 1 matchup, so they enter the game looking to remain undefeated.
For Kansas City, a Thursday Night Football win over the defending Super Bowl champions kicked off their season. It was a convincing win to start the year, and it all began with veteran quarterback Alex Smith. The former No. 1 overall pick threw four touchdowns and led his team to victory. One of those touchdowns went to rookie running back Kareem Hunt, who fumbled his first carry of his career before turning in an NFL debut to remember.
The Chiefs are looking to get their head coach Andy Reid a big win over his former team. However, the Eagles are trying to do the same. Head coach Doug Pederson used to be the Chiefs offensive coordinator before he took over in Philly.
As the head man in Philadelphia, Pederson and his football team won their Week 1 matchup against an NFC East rival, the Washington Redskins. In the game, second-year quarterback Carson Wentz started off the season with a highlight reel touchdown pass. Wentz ended the day throwing for two touchdowns and the Eagles defense finished the game for them by scoring a touchdown on a strip sack.
