Patriots vs. Saints live stream: Watch Week 2 online
By Randy Gurzi
The New England Patriots face the New Orleans Saints at Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday September, 17. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
The New England Patriots (0-1) are heading on the road to play the New Orleans Saints (0-1). Both teams feature elite quarterbacks in Tom Brady and Drew Brees, but they also each lost their opening game in disappointing fashion.
New England started their Super Bowl Championship defense on Thursday Night Football against the Kansas City Chiefs, and it ended badly. After going back and forth, the Chiefs took off in the fourth quarter and put the Pats away. Brady struggled in this one and the defense couldn’t stop anyone after linebacker Dont’a Hightower went down hurt. With him still ailing, it may be hard for them facing off with the offensive powerhouse Saints.
Of course, powerhouse may sound like the wrong term after how the Saints played in their loss to the Minnesota Vikings. In that game the Saints moved it to the red zone often, but couldn’t punch the ball in. After three-straight 7-9 seasons, the 0-1 start was the worst possible way to kick off a fresh year. If they lose to New England, things could get real ugly for head coach Sean Payton and his crew.

Both teams look to avoid an 0-2 start to the 2017 season after missing out on getting a win in Week 1. With how both defenses looked last week, though, this game could well be a shootout. If that’s the case, you won’t want to miss it.
